Communication and Exchange Among Schools

The Twinspace platform was used by our classes to exchange information, complete students’ assignments and communicate.

The course structure can be followed using the collumn of tabs on our Twinspace on the left hand side. Every task was described on the website and designed with an eye-catcher to make remembering easier for our students.

We wanted to stay safe and therefore stayed mainly on Twinspace. However, we integrated Padlet and a video conference tool on Twinspace to make activities more attractive. Students communicated doing their activities and shared their results.

Teachers (an also students);-)) talked in person over the phone, over WhatsApp. Skype was a good alternative to telephone.

We were able to broaden our local activities by funding from Europeans for Peace for two schools (German and Slovenian schools). We were thus able to invite an eye-witness from the Nazi period to a very touching talk (Ingrid Matko von Ölhafen), who was a victim of the race creation ideology. We also managed to get access to archives of name lists. A small group of students and teachers met in person.
